Retroskid provides enhanced skid resistance and retroreflectivity to road marking materials. It should be used as a surface dressing on road marking materials whilst still wet. Trafficking will eventually expose the blend of bead and aggregate within the road marking material to give performance throughout the service life of the thermoplastic marking.
Retroskid is a controlled blend of selected aggregate and glass beads. It has been specifically designed to be used as a drop-on material, to enhance the skid resistance of a road marking material, whilst retaining good retroreflectivity.
All glass beads used in the blend conform to BS EN 1423 and the incorporated highly skid resistant aggregate is clean, graded and durable. This special blend has been formulated following controlled site trials.
